AD Discussion and Inventory Spotting - Los Angeles

I popped into my local AD this afternoon to have them swap straps on my Tudor Black Bay with the Nato and to check out their current inventory. They had the typical AD selection we've come to expect including several Explorers, Air Kings, Milgauss', and a few Yacht Masters. I also spotted several TT Sub's, 1 TT GMT, 1 Cellini, and 3 PM Daytona's available (116509, 116518LN, and 116503).

As I was talking with the marketing manager about acquiring a BLNR, she told me that there are only 5 people on their list for the BLNR and they have been receiving about 2 each month. If I was interested, I can put down a refundable deposit and take delivery in about 3 months. Not too bad, there is definitely hope after all! I let her know I will take the weekend to think about it and on the way out, she sent me with a going away gift...one of their Rolex coffee table books.

As Ice Cube once said, today was a good day !

Was this Morgan's by chance in the South Bay? Just asking because a friend was able to get a BLNR through them recently without too much of a wait time. He was a first time customer - was told wait would probably take around 5-6 months but ended up getting the call after only ~2 months.

Very nice people who work there!
