14060 M with cal. 3000 mov.?

I have been offered a Rolex Submariner 14060 M No date, 2 lines.
I`m told it`s a ref. 14060 M with a cal. 3000 mov?
Watch nr. N ******, ie. the watch is from 1991.
Could that be true?

As I have checked on the internet:
The 14060 M should carry a cal 3130 and runs from 1999-present, right?
The 14060 from 1989-1999 has the 3000 cal ??

You are correct.. All 14060M watches will have the 3130 movement.. That is what the M stands for..

Clearly the watch is not being described properly and is actually a 14060.
