42 ROO Ti 'Ghost'

Apologies if this has been covered, but didn't see anything as of late. What is up with this piece? Why are there no live pics and no info? This was something I was actually excited about, from stock pics, possibly the best looking ROO in my opinion.

This model to be exact: https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wa....OO.A006CA.01/

Agree, this was my favorite of the new models as well. I asked my AD about it a couple weeks ago. He checked with his rep and was told it wouldn’t be released until the fall.

It's why it's called the ghost...

Guys here should be contacting AP and their ADs for more info, this is a big one for the 42s.

so much better than the elephant! at least the minute and hour hands are white so you can see the time more clearly.

No one saw it yet... as some SIHH visitors said the bezel will be in grey ceramic... only example of grey ceramic is on the new Japan boutique limited Diver and it looks more matted than grey ceremet bezels used on Trulli and Lebron.

What are you talking about? Dial clarity is 100x better with the ‘Ghost’ not to mention, the ceramic bezel looks awesome.

Yup, and the chrono dials, Tachymeter ring and Numerals have a nice contrast instead of simply blending in.

Those white numbers on the face really do make a difference.
That said, I really like both of them!

And these are on rubber straps now, like the 44s, which make the hornbacks seem a little quaint now.

Grey titanium have similar color scheme of elephant... with old style chronos, fat numbers and Audemars Piguet font in black...

Looking at renders Ghost will have more visual similarity to original rubberclad than these grey models...

Yeah, I'm most curious to see the bezel/date window/ceramic pusher color. The bezel looks slightly gray, the date window looks black and AP states on the website that the pushers are grey. With the dial obviously being grey, I hope this all flows together nicely. Slightly worried that stark black date wheel might stick out. REALLY looking forward to seeing some live pictures.

Also, guys, another question. Is this verified to be 100% titanium by any of your dealers? I just noticed on the AP page....up top it says it's a titanium case....however at the bottom, where it lists all the specifications, it says 'stainless steel case'.

Yes, and the Ghost seems most like the Chronopassion in TI and white numerals, just with CE bezel added.

AP gave a lot of misleading sloppy info at SIHH so we were getting updates as they read our complaints. I believe it is TI, but who knows till we see it. They didn't update the bezel to the vertical brush so maybe they've lazily kept it SS too.

I see, thanks for the heads up.

Just overly excited because I find the 44 Ti too big on my 7” wrist and this one is looking really nice Fingers crossed that AP delivers

Not sure how accurate the AP website is, but they have it listed at $27,700.

I saw this website has listed 'expect to be shipped by June 29'

Perhaps AP has given out expected allotment dates?
