Time to update the collection
Hey guys,
It’s time to update the collection, I need to move some pieces to make room for a new piece, which is still undecided between 2 pieces. What would you keep? I have these 5 pieces and would only like to keep 4. Here are my options, I love all 5 btw. 1. ROO 44 RG just got it back 2. ROO 44 Ti 3. RO RG on Bracelet and have the Strap conversion kit for it 4. Rolex Seadweller my daily and the only Rolex I love.. the other ones are way too small for me. So here are my ideas so far... Or selling getting rid of the bracelet and keeping 2 RG and 2 steel watches???... My idea was with the second option, I have one dressy piece 41RG, one weekend RG piece 44RG, classy piece not flashy for meetings etc.. 41RO and my beater the 43SD??? By the way the ones I’m debating on adding are either the 5990 which I should get by August according to my AD, or the 15407ST which... who knows when I would get it by... but I can always buy a preowned or worse case just pay the premium and buy it... What would you guys do?... lets hear some opinions... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’ll take the first group. RG RO in bracelet is a better show piece and the 44 looks best in Ti this generation

That’s tough...but I like option 2. I do, however, like the RG Royal Oak on bracelet better (personal preference). Adding a PP would be nice, and the 5990 is a beautiful piece. And the 15407 is so special.
Would you be open to replacing the SS Royal Oak with the 5990 (classy/not flashy for meetings), making room for the 15407st? |

I think I would go with your second option, I think it’s a little more balanced. But if you wanna get more money when you sell I think option one is also great and I assume you’d get more cash for the rose gold than the titanium. Those are definitely the two best choices for what to keep.
As for what to get, I’m a huge fan of the 15407, one of my favorite watches. But you already have two RO’s and one offshore, so I think I would vote for the 5990 to add a little more variety to your (already awesome) collection. |

Nothing wrong with all AP’s. I do think adding a PP would be nice for the collection, though. |

i would go with option 1, dump the RO 41 and invest in a PP 5990. You have two amazing APs already with the 44 RG and ROC RG IMHO

maybe I should just keep all 5.... lol... to be honest I think my favorite is the 44RG hence the reason I had to buy it again... ... after that I like all of them the same... I feel like the one I would use the least is the RG on a Bracelet so I figured I get rid of the bracelet and it’s basically getting rid of a watch... lol.... I might have to sleep on it for a few days... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Given your liking to RG and the love for the RG44 for me the decision would basically be this 3 watch collection as the base
SDc: daily so needs to stay 15407st: by far the best RO (IMO) out there so I’d have it and see if you feel down the road the need for another RO/ROC in any material RG44: you love this and love the material so this would be my clear choice for the 44ROO in your collection. This would give you a great foundation to decide if you need to add/keep another RO or ROO and if you feel the need you have the RG ROC or Ti44 as your options, if you feel you don’t need either it’s funds to get the 5990 as well. |

Keep the RGROC, RG44, SD43.
Move the Ti and 15400 to make room for the 15407. SD43 serves its purpose as a beater RGROC full bracelet plus strap option for dressier situations RG44 because it is just too much fun of a watch to wear (I thought you had gotten rid of this already?) 15407 because it is a work of art |

Would a 26574st be in the running along with the 15407st and 5990??? I ask given the ridiculous wait or premium on the 15407st... I love the 15407st, BUT I feel that I get more watch for the 26574... I guess it’s food for thought....
here is one of @nopstar83 pics to tease... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Option 2 and keep the ROC on bracelet as the RG 44 is on strap. These 2 plus the 2 SS and the 5990 is a very nice 5. I prefer that PC to the OW actually.
