Nice piece; the green outline really pops and adds a great contrast.

Have heard this referred to as the "Wimbledon" ... a few times recently, not sure where this bad info is coming from.
Is a different watch officially the "Wimbledon"?

Just too big for a datejust, 36mm is so standard that the 41 just looks ridiculously bloated.

Unfortunately yes, it looks very oversized for a dress watch. It is larger than tool watches like the Submariner and GMT.

Steel bracelet, screw-down crown, 100m water resistance...

Yeah, it was never a dress watch.

Was the slate Roman dial available on the DJ 41 before Baselworld this year? I know it was offered on the DJ II. I just purchased a DJ 41 Slate Roman TT everose and it was labeled as a Baselworld intro at the AD.

Very nice. Congrats!

Can someone tell me if one can access the Rolex shops in Heathrow without being a ticketed passenger? In other words, are the shops before or after the security checkpoint?

I saw one of the non-working ones at my store’s Basel show last week, was definitely considered a new release. Certainly bolder than the standard monotones.
