The picture is from the brand new dealer catalog, normaly they dont show it to you.

In the „normal“ catalog it isn’t ;-)

I just picked up a Datejust 41 at Heathrow a couple of weeks ago. The dollar is so strong against the pound that I saved $1600 over the USA price.

Did you claim back the vat as well? That’s 20% extra

Congrats on the new piece. My AD in the Houston Galleria was showing this to me the other day. The green is really cool, but I'm going to be picking up the Blue dial DJ41 next month. I couldn't get over the fact of the minimal lume. Looks amazing though, hope you enjoy it!

Because they are inside the terminal, they don't collect VAT from Americans. I went to Watches of Switzerland in Terminal 3.

You lucked out not buying in April then. It was recently the highest it's been in around 2 years. Dollar has been falling against the EUR and GBP for over a year now, had a recent plunge though.

Love this watch, looking to pick one up this week.

decided on jubilee and fluted bezel but just can't pick between the gold colour rose/yellow/white :(

Also if you're buying from a shop in London should you expect some kind of discount?

ps first post so hello everyone

Nice watch! I used to think this dial was made to go with two tone but now I'm not so sure. Definitely one of the more underrated dials Rolex makes. I found the full reference after searching enough. Rolex used to list the full ref on their website but I guess they don't do it for every watch anymore. It is slgro.

Usually this would've been a watch that you could've gotten a decent 5-10% off but not anymore. Even on the used market, they're hovering for close to retail and many over retail. The two tone models are still available for a discount on the grey market but not as much as they used to be.

Personally I like the two tone rose gold/chocolate dial. Always a nice combo but more suited for someone who has several watches.

Stainless steel/rhodium dial/jubilee is one of my favorites. The blue dial is also stunning but that is probably the hardest one to find in the boutique.

Love this watch, I'm a big fan of Jubilee bracelet but I think it looks better on the Oyster.

M opinion is Datejusts should have Roman Numerals. My 36mm has them.

Ive always like this combo but never understood the point of the tiny bit of lume at 9 oclock....do you find it serves some purpose because from an aesthetics view it doesnt seem to make sense...enjoy in good health
