Thoughts on a late 60s Explorer 1016

Hi all, I'm trying to decide whether to buy this 1969 Explorer 1016. The price is fair I think (a little over 11k EUR), but the seller (private) doesn't know for sure whether the dial has been refinished. The lume looks almost too yellow? Serial number 21xxxxx.
Thanks!

Hard to tell authenticity with just that photo, do you have clear shots of the printing on the dial (ie, not obstructed by hands)?

Does the seller have a UV light? Plots should be dead, but tell tale signs of tritium should be there (ie, little multi colored specs)

I wouldn’t knock it out just on color of plots — dials age differently

Thanks for looking into this! Attached a not so great screenshot and another pic (where the script is still partly blurred by the hands I'm afraid). I'll ask about the UV-light.

Looks like a correct frogfoot dial. AOK for 1969 imho. Not the biggest explorer fan but to my knowledge it looks nice.

I've owned a 69 1016 and the lume was exactly the same, a little crumbly looking just like this one. I think it's fine.
