Boy that's a nice case for such an old watch. Mine's that nice too, but that's because I had LAWW entirely refinish it. If that's not 'the case' here, you might be looking at a service case. Or worse

Is it just me or does the hour hand on the top photo, look different than the hour hand on the other photos. I do not think it is from the angle, either.

The first photo, the hour hand looks correct the other ones do not.

I concur, I thought I was seeing things too.

The hour hand in the first picture looks rather normal but the subsequent pictures below it look like the ones commonly associated with fakes with their disproportionate or elongated appearance.

So I can't post a link to the eBay since, I'm too new here. The long and short of it is I logged in to eBay yesterday. The gentleman has the pictures that you see above for his listing. Not better not worse. The seller is super new with 0 feedback and 0 record. The seller just registered in June 2020. The kicker is the watch was $950

I took a plunge

Totally expecting either of 3 things to happen.

1) watch never come in because the guy just listed it took the money and stopped replying to eBay.

2) receiving the watch,.and it's totally fake.

3) receiving an unpolished and totally correct Tudor Sub with original and unmolested hands and dial

Now that would be a nice 950 spent...

Anyway I will keep you guys posted.

The thing is the pictures may not even be the seller's.

If you won it on Ebay and paid by PayPal - your money should be safe.

Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed.

Anyone using PayPal to sell, transfer your money after every transaction. They have been closing legit accounts often recently.

In this case I think your safe. If he was a good scammer maybe not.

If something happens start dialogue with the seller on PayPal and EBay through the official channels. Don’t sound like a jackass. Just be reasonable and state the facts thoroughly.

Hope it works out for you.

Here ya go...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tudor-Subma...app-cvip-panel

Since it’s a completed listing you have to click the description link after landing at eBay.

$950 really ? If so you’ve scored. Personally I would never bid on a 0 feedback seller but hey you never know. Good luck.
