May I ask if anyone has the problem where the triangle on the bezel doesn't seem to line up with the 12 o clock marker in the dial?

Yeap! It is. It is awesome. Got the dssd pre loved, a V series mark 1 dial. Always wanted to have one but the thickness and imbalance on the case vs bracelet stopped me from getting one, this time not anymore. The rubberb help a lot making the dssd balanced and proportional. Its great!

Rolex SDDS screen saver

Hi to all,

In case you missed it too, I have discovered today that in the official Rolex web site, there is a SDDS screen saver to download and I find it actually quite nice, especially because it synchronize with the computer clock ;)

Cheers

I first saw the DSSD 5 years ago in Florence while my wife and I were on our honeymoon, I think it must have just been released then because I had never seen it before. The shop owner at the time was going to let me have it for $6800US, he said it was too big and nobody was buying them(lol)...I kicked myself a hundred times over the past 5 years that I didn't scoop that one up, but after having just paid for a wedding I was cash poor to say the least!

So after having 'almost' pulled the trigger about 30 times and always having something else pop up, I think my wife got fed up and picked one up for me on her way back from Zurich! Total surprise, I was in a slight state of shock I think when she passed me the green bag Needless to say I'm over the moon and I'm not sure I ever want to take it off, I see my Omega Planet Ocean getting very lonely over the next few years!

Glad to have FINALLY joined the club!
I know this is late, but what a great story!
