White gold oyster flex ceramic Daytona
Have an option to buy, doesn’t seem that hard to come by... anyone own and any thoughts on the piece...
I’m on several lists for both the black and white stainless... for the price of WG I could have both stainless pieces... Thoughts, pics, recommendations |

very beautiful watch. I think it looks a lot better than the SS white version.
I also believe in a few years it can be purchased at good discount. |

I've tried it on multiple times and love it! But agree, I think in a couple years you'll see it available for around $20k.

A few of us have this watch. I’m wearing mine right now. I love it. I’d buy it if I was you.

Had the opportunity to buy. Chose the yellow gold one instead. Either is a very nice choice.

Get it, I love mine. It’s an amazing daily...with the ceramic bezel and oysterflex strap, there’s really minimal surface area to scratch. It’s also holding its value pretty well...better than the other oysterflex Daytona’s at the moment.

depends on your lifestyle and what you're up to on a daily basis.
Overall, I'd say yes, it's definitely a great daily watch. Wears extremely well. Very Comfortable. Somehow under the radar while still having one of the sharpest most brilliant dials Rolex has ever made IMO. It's an all around winner. |

My favourite Daytona , and it wears a bit bigger than the SS model which is a plus IMO.

Love this piece, I like the looks of this more than the white SS Daytona.

I think it’s a very sharp watch. I like the WG and the YG models. All really nice looking.

I absolutely love the steel dial, but wish it came on a bracelet.

I recently added this one as well. You won’t be disappointed with it. The Easylink is awesome!

I’ve been wondering why everyone says that it will take a hit in value? Just want to hear where the logic comes from. IMO I think it would stay or remain popular for many years. Just wondering... thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great piece. You could have both stainless for about similar money, but it'll take 5 years for you to accomplish this. Get the WG now... if you're concerned about resale value look to the gray market here.

I really like this model. I will definitely buy one down the road when I am ready for PM.
maybe there will be bracelet option in the future. Are the endlinks removable? |

When it comes to the future value of anything, nothing is definite. Given the popularity of the steel dial coupled with a ceramic bezel reminiscent of the 6263 Big Red, the 116500 going for $18-20k, and the limited supply of white gold oysterflex Daytonas, I would bet it retains its value pretty well

No they are not. My hunch (and hope) is the ceramic bezel stays unique to the OF model. The 116509 already has the same steel dial with a WG bezel and was released the same year as the 116519LN - hopefully this is a sign of Rolex's intentions.

I might pick this up later this year... wife said no more SS watches. She wants me to go two tone or gold or rose gold. And white face. She was very specific about the next Rolex. And she didn’t like the Pepsi. So it might just be the Daytona some form of gold

Stunning watch! I am having a hard time resisting to it. I already own two Daytonas (116520 black dial and 116500 white dial) which complement each other beautifully and which I will never part with. Now, getting a third Daytona sounds a bit too much. But I really love this WG Oysterflex model...
