Possible trade question

I have an opportunity to obtain from an AD a YG Day Date 228238 with white dial. I am contemplating offering in partial trade a rarely worn 116520 white dial Daytona (with an “APH” dial, if that matters), random serial, complete set.

What is a reasonable trade value to ask for the Daytona? I’m sure I could get more for the Daytona by selling it privately, but not sure I want the hassle of that.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Maybe not unreasonable. That’s probably the low end of what I could sell it for privately. So, understanding that they need to make a profit on the resale (but also understanding that they could probably sell it quickly) I was thinking that they might be willing to go $22k-$23k in trade value. But maybe that’s too low . . .

Complete set and mint condition, I’d 100% start with 25. Trust me the dealer won’t lose

Honestly I’d keep the 116520.

Thought about it. But I also own a 116500 white dial which gets all the wrist time of that model. So I just never wear the 116520. And have always wanted a YG Day Date . . .

Side question, why doesn’t this forum have the basics, like letting you know which posts are from the thread starter? And the image upload limits are so dial-up…
