What are Breitlings “Hot” models?

Every brand has their go-to references.

Rolex with the SS Daytona’s and SkyD

PP with the Nautilus and Pilots

AP with..... well everything is hot right now with them

If you had to rank the top 5 Breitlings, how would you guys do it?

Navitimer
Super Avenger II
Superocean
Chronomat
Aerospace

The new website, with the now reduced selection, with so many eliminated should be a heck of a good clue.

I think the redesigned Chronomat B01 is a stunner. Best looking version of the watch they've had in I don't know how long. I only wish they would put it out in an otherwise identical 41mm version (unlike the previous Chronomat 41, which screwed up the dial symmetry). Perhaps that will come next year. If so, I'd get it.

This would be my list as well.

I'm glad that they shrunk the collection. However, I'm surprised to see no mechanical GMT/Timezone watches and the Cosmonaute is gone. I'm guessing they were cut based on sales.

The Cosmonaute will be coming back based on a very reliable source.

Navitimer, but it isn't hawt.

No Breitlings are.

They need a lot of help to be hawt.

They have taken some steps, but they have a lot more to go.

Superocean Heritage II seems to be a hot model right now. My AD had to order mine in, as they haven't been able to keep them in stock. I've searched for a lightly used reference, but they are few and far between right now.

Not hawt? Matter of opinion, taste.
Sort of like my wife is hotter than the next guy’s.
I love my three.

So are the Bentley models Navitimers?
Those were the first Breitlings that truly caught my attention.

Bentley is a standalone line. It has never been part of any "standard" Breitling range, and even has its own website.

As far as the current hype, don't know if they have any models that can keep up tith the bigger names, but I sure love my Transocean chrono heritage LE.

Navitimer is the only one that could be considered "hot", the rest are not. But who cares, buy what you like.

in terms of market popularity.

For example.

The Rolex Daytona sells for well above retail, is the topic of infinity # of threads on this forum and is pretty much all anybody talks about.

The Patek Nautilus? See above.

The Breitling Navitimer?

The opposite of the above...and that is the most popular Breitling.

Now, this is very important.

That is not an insult to the Navitimer. It is a fine watch and I would love to buy one some day...

But from a market stand point, it is NOT a hot reference.
