If so, you need to drop the Rolex brand ASAP. It's making you all sorts of ill.

That's a great thread idea, thank you! I'm always thinking of different ways of making things exciting around here.

There’s a saying in the hockey world when a newby player over reacts exuberantly to something he’s done.

It’s “act like you’ve been here before”.

It’s not to quash excitement, but merely temper the adolescent outbursts which can be embarrassing.

Sometimes it applies to fanboydom as well.

Everyone on this forum should think like that!! He' right, it's just a watch. It won't make you any better, or worse than you already are, most people really don't care, or notice. No one cares about all the cute little names you have for the various models, no one cares (except some of you)which celebrity is wearing which watch. The list goes on and on and on, but in the end it's just a watch.

I don't pay much attention to signage and my heart certainly doesn't skip any beats as a result of occasionally seeing some sign.

However, when I'm surfing the internet, anything Rolex is sure to grab my attention.

Weird thread. Of course not.

OP, relax a little and perhaps realize it's just a watch that anyone who can save up a few grand can buy.

Geneva airport! Not only Rolex, and many in the way of the clocks about the place, the walls are plastered with massive advertising hoardings along the moving walkways. I have to keep my eyes looking down, I cant take it, it's like torture!

Hmmmm, might be the human instinct / feeling of acceptance / approval for your life choices. While i've not done the specific research, there's little doubt many people seem to seek out the confirmation of ____ for their life choices.
