my 114 was running fast and as it was coming up to the end of warenty i thought id get it done......

£350/$700!!!

damn!

i would quite happiliy suffer the 1 or 2 mins gain a day as its a manual wind anyway but dont want any longterm damage to be caused... guess i better do some overtime

That seems to be very expencive for a simple service as most good high street watchmakers could do it.

£225 for service, damage to the screw receptors on end links-115 and postage and vat....

think ill pass on the screw related work for now- seemed fine before

Well like all high end brands when it comes to service the price jumps dramatically.But take the name Panerai of the dial, put a unknown brand on it. Power it with a similar Unites calibre 6498/7 price would be less than half what they charge for a service.

it was still under warranty but apparantly it took a knock-which invalidates the warranty.... just like an insurance company, they'll take your money and work out a way to get out of keeping their end of the bargain when its time to perform the service
