Thanks! FPJ has spoken highly and fondly about the CS, as an owner it’s fantastic to see the man himself feel passionately about your piece

I will find out more about the inverted 6, I’m hoping it is a mistake and never repeated again LOL

Thanks!! Your wrist shots of the 1815 were (are) inspirational and the decision was close haha. Likewise I see an ALS on my wrist in the future

I’m already looking forward to the fun with straps. I’d ordered an additional piece and since they missed shipping it with the watch itself, it will come later.. and complimentary due to the delay!

I am so happy for you! I know you put a bunch of thought into this, and it paid off with this incredibly handsome watch. Cherish it. Every FPJ is special.

Thanks Mark! Your passion for Journe has been an inspiration I’m glad to have started this relationship with FPJ :)

I'm so glad you did as well. One of the very few watch companies that gives as much back as you put in. I have no doubt you will love this trip with Journe!

Beautiful watch, the dial layout is so visually appealing.

I'd love to add a FPJ at some point.

Wow! First and foremost congrats on your first beautiful and rare Journe! Your watch looks oh so familiar! I have the other upside down '6' that the other members are referring to in this thread. I thought it was an only child but now it has found its long lost twin brother here is an old thread regarding the error on the dial that may answer some questions -

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=752913

Cheers to the '69er'!!

Cheers to the '69er'!!

Cheers indeed!
The 6 does catch the eye immediately because of its placement, away from the minute scale / rail tracks.
Since we have ‘twins’ lol.. it’s less likely these are applied, more likely these are embossed dials from the same batch.
I think the ‘error dial’ auction dream is still viable but I’m hoping they stopped at two lol

Give FPJ a call I’d bet they would tell you how the dial was made. I’d bet dollars to doughnuts it’s a watchmaker error. Possible the 12 and then 6 are the first numerals applied and it’s a mind f#%^.

Embossed seems like there would be one mold or CNC program handling it. Less likely to have an error.

That is not an embossed dial, the numbers are applied. Ignoring the 6 for a minute, you can tell that because the applied numerals are much taller (height off the dial). You can also see clearly that they are applied to the dial if you look closely. Versus being actually part of the dial.

It’s a beautiful watch. I’m curious as to what you will do, and what Journe will do if you ever send it in for service.

You’re right. I saw it under 20x magnification and very clear it’s applied. The polish is superb on close inspection.

To be honest... I’m uncertain at the moment on whether or not to do anything about the inverted 6.

Is there a possibility Journe could replace the dial during a service?

I’d really appreciate any advice on what if anything to do....

Why would Journe replace the dial if you do not authorize for it or specifically ask not to touch the dial?

I’ll get to know soon. I’ve requested they not change the dial.
