I’d have to go with Sinn!

This may sound like a stupid question, but what sort of legibility.
Divers watches are generally superbly legible to the nearest 5 minutes, but next to useless if you need to know the time to the nearest minute (e.g. flying an aircraft). This is why pilots watches have evolved differently. For the former, there are any number of candidates. For the latter it’s hard to improve on the Sinn suggested. I have an original 656, purchased when they introduced them, and a 756 Chrono. The 556 is truer to the spirit of the original 656 than the bigger 856. IWC’s can be nice if you can run to the cost, but they do seem to lose their way from time to time on some models. |

Honestly, for work I need to know what time it is but I'm with people a lot so it comes down to being able to glance VERY FAST at a watch and know the time. Divers are legible if you stare at it, but I am looking for quickest to read. Thanks!

I find the Exp II Polar and Speedy Moonwatch the gold standards in terms of legibility for their respective product classes.

I'd have to say either speedy pro or Pelagos. High contrast with white hands. The Omega SMPc white dial is very easy to read as well.

Big pilot. Sounds stupid but I used to wear it all the time for meetings so I could manage my time without staring too hard at my watch.

If you're partial to Sinn's design language, I'd also consider Damasko, maybe a DA36 - very legible arabic numerals on the dial, and large white hands that are hard to miss.

Echoing earlier Sinn recommendations. Incredibly legible

Panerai with a sandwich dial, but for the OP, a model with fewer complications than my 317
