hard to tell in that photo but fine finishing isn't a trademark for FPJ. awesome watch regardless

Yes, same feeling. The finishing is somewhat lower than my expectation but the architecture is great.

I’ve a relatively small wrist (6’9ish). From my point of view the CB is at the upper limit of watches with lugs I can wear.

Since I’m after a 42mm LineSport I wonder how they compare against the CB on the wrist?
Would be great if somebody could post a side by side picture of a 42mm LineSport vs a CB (or a Rolex 40mm sports model).

Love the centigraphe!

Re:finishing I have no issues with the movement finishing on my linesport but I didn’t come into this expecting Lange finishing. I like Journe for dial design, movement architecture, comfort and yes exclusivity to a degree. Most understand that movement finishing while good isn’t their USP.

I’ve been told the 44mm wears smaller. I like my watches around 40mm max but haven’t had the opportunity to try one on yet. Any feedback would be great!

It does for sure. There’s essentially no lugs. I would say it fits like a 41-42mm watch. Not a far cry from a sub 41.

7” wrist

That’s really helpful, thank you! I have the 41mm Kermit too and excited to see they look almost identical in size on the wrist!

If you want great architecture and fine finishing, check out the ALS Datograph.

The big dial with thin bezel does make it look bigger than a sub though.

The Datograph with Black dial and pt case is my favorite. I am negotiating the price with a dealer in China. Due to the COVID, really hard to buy some watches in a foreign city.

That said, I do wish ALS had more bracelets available.

My ARS2 is in the shop for now. I think I put a micro crack in the crystal or there’s a fiber under the crystal. Will report back.

Does anyone know what the wait time is for a new Octa S? Just as hard to get as the rest of the Journe collection?
