If you had to pick one...

I was fortunate enough to try on the WG and RG 5270. Both are exquisite pieces from PP.

I had to throw in the Datograph for comparisons.

If you had to pick one, which would it be?

I’d say it’s even up between the Dato and black 5170. Both stunned mg watches

I like the 39mm datograph over those 3. The 41mm too big

Personally I prefer the newer dial without the pulsation scale, as I find the single rail-road track more balanced. The ones with the pulsation scale looks imbalanced to me, especially the blank from 7 to 9 o'clock versus the rest of the dial. Both dials are nice though, just expressing my preference on the newer one

I feel like it’s too much open space... that’s probably why I like the pulsometer

Just by looking at those 3 pics , the Dato looks way nicer than the other 2.

I just don’t like the lugs or thickness of data. Rg 5170 of those two, but clearly P is the winner of the lineup

5170G-010 for me. I'm aiming to make that my next purchase trying to decide between AD with discount vs buying from a grey

I'm a fan of the 5170r. If going for a Lange comparison, I'd suggest the 1815 chrono in rg.

I really prefer the Date but they take a hit immediately. I'd go WG Patek.

Both take huge hits from MSRP.

Datograph of the group no contest.
