WTS: Blancpain Triple Calendar 6595
Price: USD 3,800.00
Description This is the Blancpain Triple Calendar reference 6595. Founded in 1735 by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain who also served as the mayor of Villeret, Blancpain has a storied history in horology. Famous for creating the world’s first modern dive watch, the Fifty Fathoms, in 1953, Blancpain also has the distinction of never having applied a quartz movement in any of their timepieces. This was commercialized by the legend Jean-Claude Biver with the new slogan “Since 1735, there has never been a quartz Blancpain watch. And there never will be." In the early 1990s, their grand complication was the world’s most complicated wristwatch when it was introduced. This particular reference, the 6595, runs on the Blancpain’s ultra thin Calibre 95 automatic movement with the day, date, month and moonphase function. Condition This Blancpain 6595 is in excellent pre-owned condition. There are some hairlines on the bezel from prior wear but the overall case remains in excellent condition. The caseback remains in excellent condition and the dial is clean. All pushers are functioning correctly and it retains the original Blancpain steel buckle.
