My first 1680<1977>

Just got it 3 hours ago
Comes with box ,paper ,booklets, hang tag ,anchor<200m>
and receipt in 1977

White tritium dial hands and pearl

Does anyone know how to make tritium creamy or yellow faster than by age?
keep it dark or keep in it the sun?
thank you very much

Congratulations on your purchase!

Could you post a better picture of the dial? It may not be tritium, possibly a luminova replacement.

Check to see if the plots shine in the dark after exposure to direct light?

It still grow in the dark for 5-10 minutes after expose to the light or Sun.
I think it is tritium replacement.

It does appear to be an early service dial / luminova, thus the plots will not get creamy.

Nothing wrong with that!

You have a great full "collector's" package there.

You will also have the option to replace the service dial in the future for one of your liking!!

Well, i am not so sure it is a repleacement dial, more pics will be needed. Anyway, replacement dials have the L of Rolex to the left of the crown, and 6 are open.
interesting thread: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=192774
Anyway, congrats and enjoy it, B&P, always a great special combo!

I have a tritium marked luminova dial and hands on my 1680. Dial looks just like the OP's.

Original dial/hands/insert:
