YouTube's Algorithm Got Me Last Night (Jazz Content)

For some reason this popped up on my Youtube feed last night and I bit. So glad I did. Casual jazz fan and had not been familiar with Bill Evans. Pretty incredible listening. I'll definitely be digging deeper on this guy.

Also, check out Jim Hall’s “Concierto”. My all time favorite piece of music.

Oh yeah, good stuff.

I can also recommend At Shelly's Manne Hole. The bass playing in that is tremendous, you can feel it. Great performance by all and the live recording is just fantastic.

Thread title pulled me in - spent a LOT of my life as a jazz musician. Never played with Bill, but played with some guys who did play with him.

One of my absolute favorites - one could argue it's the greatest jazz recording of all time.

Agree. I have 3 vinyl copies (Stereo, Mono, and the new UHQR), CD, and cassette tape.
