14060M 2 lines Or SD 16600 ?

Hello TRF

I have both
Got to admit that 14060M is fantastic as a daily wearer
Simple dial
Comfortable
Matte bezel
True sub descendant !

SD 16600 is an absolute beauty too
She got date without cyclope wich is a plus
But thickier heavier

Guyz which one and why ? Which one for a daily wearer ?
Post pics of the 2 together if possible

Have to agree and anyone with simple common sense would do the same.

I would go for the 14060M, no loupe and it has a clean dial.

Correct. Because it has no date. But the sd does not have an loupe as well...

I prefere the sd but they look almost the same.

Well seeing I have quoted several times on forum my favorite sports watch is the 16600 SD so I will leave you to guess which one I would sell.

The date on the SD is more appealing. I usually find that a watch with a date is more useful.

To me the SD is unbeatable. Looks, size, COSC, rating. If I were to sell one of the 2, of course, goodbye 2 liner.

I'd sell the SD as it sounds like you already like the 14060M as a daily.

I find the thickness and presence of the SD more fitting for my eyes and wrist!

I used to have a Sea-Dweller, and I don't miss it a bit.

I moved on to the Submariner, but the newer reference.

Whenever there's a choice between a Sub and an SD, the correct answer is always SD.....think Red Sub vs Double Red SD, you would obviously choose Double Red. For those of you who must have a date, an SD has the option of a date, subtly placed in the dial so as not to interfere with the symmetry of the dial unlike the Sub with that horrible looking cyclops (no one ever puts the words handsome, good looking, stylish with the word "cyclops") so again, the obvious choice, SD. Just knowing you have a more substantial, better in every way watch, leads you to the only possible conclusion.........SD!!!!! Oh yeah......one more thing........."Go big or go home"

I owned the SD, and it didn't do much for me. I sold it and got the explorer II. The 14060M is on my list for the next one, just waiting for the right deal to pop up.

SD all the way.

My daily wear 24/7 with no complaints. Fits under the cuff, versatile, rare, and classic.

Alternate daily wear would be Explorer I

The 16600 was the most uncomfortable watch I've ever worn.
