Who is sporting yellow gold?

Yellow hold has been in the outs for years. I have owned a Day Date onyx reference fir a few years now and I have worn it maybe 12 times. It just seemed loud to me. I just turned 43 and figure it is time to wear it, but damn, is it loud.

I love wearing gold. But I work all the time and have to see many clients in person, so I hide all gold containing watches and bust out the SS DJ41.

Don't have a wrist shot handy, will have to upload one when I get it out of the safe again.

Here's the best I can do for now..

Dont know where you been hiding but social media FULL of yellow gold. Rose gold and Yellow gold are the hyped materials at the moment.

YG is KING!!! I've been wearing it non stop for the last 6 months straight.

Honestly I could not choose. I got the DD40 about 1.5 years prior to the full gold bluesy as I already had the TT so I'm still kind of in Honeymoon period with the full gold sub.

You need both in your collection on my opinion

So its time for you to now go and get a YG DD40 my friend!

Beats me, my dad bought it in 1960 in Switzerland. As far as I know, no work was done to it until recently where the crystal was changed, the crown tube replaced and the movement got a service. It's a bit of an oddball watch, it also has the florentine engraving which is hard to see in that picture.

Absolutely. It was in the safe for 20 years since my dad's passing when I ran across it again. So obviously I sent it off to be serviced. Enjoy wearing it. But the whole time I always felt like it wasn't my watch, so my Rolex buying addiction started. Got the Bluesy August 2019, the DJ 41 in May 2020, and the Rootbeer October 2020.

I love yellow gold... here they are. Thinking of trading in one or 2 of the DD36 for a DD40. Still thinking though.

Do It! 40mm DD's are great and would be a nice addition to your collection. IMHO
