RSC Red 1680?
My 1680 Red sub is definitely due for a service. I wanted to get some input on whether I should send it through RSC or have reputable watch maker service the watch? Is it true Rolex will change out dial or anything like that?

I would go the independent route who have more respect for originality. There are some really good ones.
Normally Rolex would not change dial and hands unless you authorise since you have to pay for those

Rolex will change the dial and hands as a routine part of the service. Avoid.

Only if it is flaking, otherwise they won't replace them. And one can always refuse if they think the replacement dial and hands is mandatory.
