Vintage watch costs less than a tank of gasoline
Yes, I really like owning vintage Rolexes, but sometimes it can be so much fun to find a nice watch for less than a tank of gasoline:
Let's see your favorite sub $100 vintage watch: (i) Candido 25 jewel Similar shape, though smaller than the TagHeuer Monaco, this Candido 25 jewel watch has a dial that I really enjoy. It's interesting how they put so much detail in a Sub $100 dollar watch- the Red paint marking stands out, and the watch has a center divide line showing the two shades of blue....

Mine is a 1968 gold plated Timex waferthin. This is the watch that started it all for me when it comes to being a vintage collector. Sadly, its currently in storage in non operational shape(movement needs alot of work). I do hope to some day get around to sending it away for restoration. Ill try and snap some pics of it.

One more.., another blue..
This was also less than a tank of gasoline, and I think it's oustanding. The designer, Emilio Pucci, lived a very interesting life, lived all over the world, and somehow his name was associated with my cool blue watch:

Nice
Nice, I would put a new $20 dollar crystal on that watch, and give it a light polish. I am enjoying what I can find in the 100 - 200 dollar range ...

its a hard case to polish, and it's been overpolished as well as one of the lugs is bent, and appears to have either fallen off and been soldered on or polished to all hell. either way theres $250 in scrap in it, so no loss =)
