I believe your model is a Grand Seiko SBGA031 Ti which is one hell of a watch. I have owned one grand seiko and I can attest to its quality. I true watch for the WIS congrats!

Can anybody tell me why that particular watch is not sold in the USA? I would have thought that the US market would be of huge importance to Seiko.

While I love the GS line, and have been eyeing a quartz model for a couple if years now, two things distract me. 1] Seiko repeats itself on the dial, with their name twice [Seiko, and Grand Seiko], and the yen being so strong, the watches are pricier than they would have been a few years ago.

When I have ticked all the Rolex Sport Boxes. The GS will be the next move for me. Some are starting to get into the UK. I understand Jurawatches in London are a dealer. Alternatively a daytrip to Tokyo
