Icon14 Invictas are great!

Since I previously only wore G-Shocks and mall watches, I bought and wore and Invicta that looked like a TTSub to see if I could wear one, or totally destroy one in daily life. I was impressed by how well made it was for the price. The automatic movement was smooth and quiet, and (sad to say) it turned out to be more accurate than my GMTIIc. Anyway, I didn't destroy it so eventually got my first Rollie.

Yeah I agree. They are very good watches for the price.

They have some high end stuff like the Speedway COSC, Speedway Rerverse and Subaqua. They also have under $100 watches that can be found at Big 5 Sporting Goods stores or Costco.

I actually own two Invicta's

Pro Diver SS TT
Pro Diver Titanium

Both automatics.

I'll be honest their work horses. I haven't had as much activity with my titanium as I have with my SS. I've basically beat the crap out of my SS and it still keeps going and looks good in a suit and tie.

I've actually had people mistake my SS for a Rolex Sub before.

So for the money, I think their a great value!

Sams Club usually has a decent selecion of Invicta's as well.

Personally, I have never owned one.

They used to put ETA movements in the higher end ones like the 9937. If you buy one with an Auto movement I suggest spending a little more and get a swiss movement model. The ones with Miyota movements have plastic retainer rings that can break if knocked hard enough or dropped. I love Invicta for the money and variety, but they have horrible customer/repair service if you need it.

If you like the sub copy, finding the 9937 with the coin edge bezel would be my suggestion. I have three different Invictas, have destroyed one, but NO watch would have survived that situation. One is in the shop with a broken retainer ring, or movement holder if you prefer.

Value for the dollar however, I must suggest one of the better Seiko 5 watches. I think they are about the most watch for the dollar and they are very respectable watches in the 100-300 price range.

I bought this 9937 a few years ago. It doesn't look as pretty now but it still runs fine. Bulletproof Swiss ETA movement, sapphire crystal, ego caseback, solid SS case and bracelet finishing. I haven't found anything yet that can top it for $300.00

Btw, we also have 6 Rolex wrist and pocket watches on the go.

The only Invicta I ever bought failed in 2 weeks. maybe I should give it another go but I usually do not after I have been burnt once.

Might be worth the second chance, these things sadly happen sometimes.

I just bought an Invicta from Sam's Club for a daily wearer. (My 7016/0 is now retired, and I only wear it on special occasions...) I love 'em! Tough, good-looking and still and automatic...

i have 2 of them; one that looks like the SS Sub and one that looks like a TT Sub. They are both very nice and hard working watches that are easily able to take a beating. I think they are a great value for the $

I have two of them and they look and work nicely, the one pictured below is a monster and I think looks very stylish. The only problem is that the clasp doesn't want to stay closed. I got this one from SHOPNBC.COM and believe it or not, they have great prices and service.

I have two 8926 Invictas, also.

I'm no watch snob, so it doesn't always take a heck of a lot for a watch to impress me, but the Invicta Pro Divers are indisputably rugged, good-looking watches that deserve a lot of respect.

I have been told that the 8926 was the best reviewed watch on Amazon in 2007. If true, there are a lot of folks who are happy with their purchase.

I know I am.

i am invictaless at the moment. a friend of mine at work saw my diver and had to have it so i sold it to him for the same money i paid for it, (it was only the second time i had worn the watch) and my nephew talked me out of my silver dial ocean ghost chrono. i know they make allot of different watches with different movements but both of mine had swiss movements and they worked perfectly.

i am always looking at them so the next time one catches my eye i am quite sure i will own another one.

i had a TT invicta sub rep.
the gold wore off the bracelet where i would rest my hand on a table or a desk. the cyclops scratched. the screw down crown stopped screwing down, and before i knew better, i put a magnet near the movement and that threw off the accuracy for a while.

other than that i was happy, got complements on it.

I have one of the limited edition diamond meteorite watches, a few Lupahs with several nice straps, a Race edition with a skeleton back that is really sweet...

I like them, nothing has failed yet, and my oldest one is over 5 years old.

I have an 8926 with the coin edge bezel that people always mistake for a Rolex Sub. I didn't like the polished center links so I rubbed them out with a 320 grit sandpaper sponge available at any hardware store. It took awhile to blend in everything but the watch looks great. It gets alot of wrist time. I must admit I've heard horror stories about Invictas Cust Service but so far I can't complain. I must have got a good one, no problems since I bought it in 7/07. But to be honest I won't buy another Invicta

Nothing says swiss " cheese " like INVICTA.

I owned a Sub noma III for a short time. Sold it for about 1/3 of what I paid. Never again.
