Fit Question
Would like some input on one of my previous watches before buying a new one. I had a BLNR and it felt ok on the wrist, maybe slightly larger, but not too crazy. When I look at it in pictures it seems the same, maybe a tad large, but not too large.
I'm now considering a 36mm or DJ 41. Not 100% sold on the DJ41 as I think it will be closer in size to the GMT I had. Sent from my Moto X Play using Tapatalk |

BLNR looks ok on you...but it's all about what you like.
Try a 36 and a 41 on back to back. You'll know. |

The DJ 41 wears a little smaller than 41mm (Rolex fudged the case size a little), but I'd still recommend the 36mm for you.
I have a smaller wrist, like you, so I know the decision you're going through.

I would also look at the Explorer and OP in 39mm or the Daytona in "40mm" (as we all know it's not really that big) if you don't need the date... I have an Explorer and Daytona and both feel more comfortable than my BLNR and SubC. For reference I'm about a 6.75" flat wrist.

36mm would look great on your wrist IMO. Here's a 36MM on my 7" relatively flat wrist:

In my personal opinion, if that was my wrist (I have a very small but flat 6.25" wrists), I'd call it too big and consider modern 36mm or pre-super-case 40mm (a lot thinner lugs, really 39mm diameter, not as hefty).
I generally like small watches so YMMV, but DJ is a rather classy/dressy piece compared to GMT Master with rotating bezel. I'd personally go for 36mm DJ and probably don't even consider the 41mm version. |

I say go for a 36mm. Timeless, forever, always. In my opinion, 36mm-40mm is the sweet spot. Perhaos a 38mm would be perfect. The rage toward every larger watches will be looked back upon as a temp. trend/blip on the screen. Normal size people look good in 36-40mm. Beyond that, unless you are a rather large person, they tend to be bulky, bump into thngs, lean toward the glitsey and overdone. JMHO.
Here are mine for a quick comparison (see poic). The DD is 36mm and the BLNR is a super case 40mm. This is the largest I would ever wear. For context, my wrist is 6.7 inches (I think it's 17 cm). Again...JMHO, but I think that 41mm and larger should be reserved for either the very young who enjoy the atention or large stature persons (over 6 feet tall and 200 lbs). I hope this is helpful.

I’d have to agree, the BLNR looks a bit big in the picture. Try something smaller and see how you like it.

You have a perfect DJ 36 wrist! You're lucky in this regard because that icon of a watch is my favorite Rolex!

As others have said the BLNR is way too big for your wrist IMO.

When it doubt, go 36mm. Imnpossible to go wrong with this. Safest, most classic choice. Unless, of course, you are a large person. JMHO

I think it looks fine. It doesn’t look ridiculous by any means like a D-Blue or a RO Offshore would look. You’re at the limit for your wrist size. I don’t have large wrists either and my limit is 41-42mm. Why not try a rhodium or blue dial Yachmaster I? It wears slimmer more like a Daytona. It’s not for everyone but doesn’t hurt trying a couple on.

The BLNR doesn’t look bad on your wrist but I do feel like the 36mm would suit you better and it is classic.

Congrats on picking up the 36mm DJ. Can never go wrong with a classic like that.
Even if the BLNR didn't look so large on you, I would have still recommended the 36mm DJ. |
