Help w/ a Exp 1016

I’ve been offered this 1016 for the equivalent of 8.200usd. I don’t know much about this reference, so I would like to hear your input on the matter. Serial is 1.735xxx. Thanks

Ps: sorry for the bad pictures.

It could just be the lighting/reflection in the photos but the bezel doesn't look right for a 1016, it should taper to the glass
apperas to be frogfoot dial

Agree. It's very odd-looking.

Bezel looks strange to me, also. My 1016 1972 has much sharper edges on the bezel, interface with crystal is different also. Not knowing much about these things, the bezel in the image could be heavily polished???

The dial looks too small? You can see the bottom edge of it. Very odd.

From the profile shot it looks polished to hell - as well as at least one of the lugs. But the price isn't bad if the movement and dial check out.
