Meters first service dial? (5512)
I've been told there is no such thing as a matte white Meters first 5512 service dial. A matte white feet first? "Yes", but not a meters first dial.
Do any of you have any info on this? If you think there are some can you post proof? Appreciate it. |

Service dials at that time was current production dials. If a dial was replaced during the late 60’s when matte meters first was around it got a matte meters first dial. If later it got the dial which was around at that time. Not really much more difficult than that. Rolex didn’t start making new meters first dials after they moved on to feet first.
