Borrowed from another thread:

From 1988 to 1996 , Gmt 16700 was available with the choice between Oyster 78360 and Jubile 62510.

From 1994 to 1996 Oyster 93150 was added to this choice.

Then from 1996 to 1999 it was Oyster 78790 or Jubile 62510.

The fliplock is more secure, but I have the 78360 for a more vintage look on my 1996 T series

I think it was offered when the 16710 was launched as I have price list from 1996 with it in and available with the 78790 bracelet.

I had a GMT Master II Coke SEL No Holes with box/papers back around 2005-2007 - I paid $3500 or so for it lol. It was literally brand new and I thought I bought it from DavidSW.

Brilliant watch - fliplock makes it that bit safer. Mine also came fitted a Sub clasp with dive extension. Great allrounder!

I've read that ADs offered the Submariner bracelet as an option on the 16700 in the '90s so the diver's extension could fit over pilots' flight suits. Probably why you see quite a few 16700s out there with Sub bracelets on them.

The Oyster 93150 was available of all the GMTs beginning with the 16750 GMT-Master which was introduced during late 1979.

That's what I thought when I read the information above. Thanks for clarifying.

Bought my 16700 new in 99 ,oyster 78790 & also picked up a jubilee 62510 . So have the best of both worlds & several inserts , & it's having these that can really change the look of the watch. The GMT has got to be the most versatile watch there is ,as I'm not aware of any other watch that can have so many different looks

My 16700 R serial 1989ish also has the 93150 bracelet.

Do not think any of the 93150 is original to 1989 as it has had 2 RSC services and the bracelet appears brand new (as does the whole watch!).

My favourite watch.

Pics on the 93150 and also a new jubilee which I prefer

Check the bracelet code on the clasp. That would probably answer your question.
