Bracelet for my vintage Airking from the 50's

Hi all,

I'm curious about trying to source a bracelet for my vintage 5500 Airking (pic attached).
I've tried to date it when I first got it, but believe there is some confusion because Rolex reused some serial numbers from the 1950's in the 60's?

Any good sources I should go to first to try find a bracelet? I'm not really sure where to start.

All the best

Neill

I have a 69 that also takes the rivet. I have the original but wanted a replacement. Only option is Rolex. About $800, and won't be rivet style.

You might consider sending it to an RSC to purchase a new bracelet, then search for a matching rivet bracelet when time allows. The new bracelet won't be period correct but will be superior in construction.

Send it to Michael Young in Hong Kong and for a few hundred dollars US it will come back looking brand new.

Neil,
As shown in the useful chart posted above the 7205 or 6635 are the correct Oyster bracelets for your reference.

Cheers,
Rick
