Correct dial for OQ 17000 -78?

Got an offer to buy a OysterQuartz Datejust 17000 from late -78.
The watch has a 5 line Mk2 dial marked T SWISS MADE T, could it be correct?
Since the 3 lined Mk1 dial was used from -77 and about 18 month i guess it could be correct with 5 line Mk2 dial but should it read T SWISS MADE T or is it a newer service dial?

If I recall, up through 78 it should just say ROLEX DATEJUST at the top, OYSTERQUARTZ at the bottom and T SWISS T down below.

Most likely the watch you are looking at either has an aftermarket or a much later service dial on it.

Thanks for your reply offrdmania, too bad they exchanged the Mk1 dial on this one.

It happens all the time. Not a big deal if the price is right. I surely wouldnt pay a premium for it but if significantly discounted, it would probably be a nice wearer.

He's asking 4500$ for a fullset with a nice case, i think it´s too much when the dial is exchanged.
