Incoming Tomorrow

Since I sold my 2 APs, I needed a daily beater. 5522 is a ways away as is the 5524. So got a call from my AD that he had a piece that my brother wanted but my bro decided to bail. So it looks like it's mine.

It's not a Patek by rhymes with Gorex. :)

Not a planned purchase but I'll take it.

As long as it's not a Fauxlex. I bought one once and it didn't work out very well.

They are beautiful. Sarcasm does not always translate well in a forum. Very nice collection.

Yes. I don't know anyone on the Rolex forums. All the folks I "hang out" with are here.

Cheers.

Great cars, I have the exact same SLS and red 458. But yours is the 488....just a question, why do you have the trickle charger on the battery, do you not have the OEM magnetic hook up in the rear trunk, it's a lot safer and convenient. You can order the plugs from your dealer. So worth it....just saying

You are referring to the 488 trickle charger correct?

488 has the trickle on the back near the license plate. The SLS trickle charger is hook up to battery under the hood.

I don't know. This is why I pulled the trigger on my incoming. Both 5524 and 5522 are a ways off I think.

My experience is just when you begin to lose hope and buy something else is when you get the call.

Yes yes, there is a hook up in the trunk, left side there is a magnetic connection that has two cables which should have come with the car, they snap in like the 488 style. You can check under the floor of the trunk in the rear, lift it up where the spare tire is and you might have the cables in there. My car came with them from the factory, I only had to buy the OEM charger from Mercedes that connects with those magnetic ports.

Wow- had no clue. I bought the car and the trickle charger in the hood was already hooked up.

Ill have to check the trunk.

So you connect the cable and there is a spot on the back of the car similar to the 488?? no more partially open trunk?? Dang- never knew.

TY!
