Chris Pratt seen doing his latest movie press with a 44mm Black Panerai.
I noticed Chris Pratt doing a TV interview with a unmistakable black Panerai 44mm Luminor on his wrist. Turns out he is all over with this watch from the golf course to his latest Disney movie press.

I have seen a bunch of guys post behind the scenes stuff with camera ops/dps and such wearing pams. I think they are more popular in Hollywood and such than maybe with the crowd around here these days

Chris is wearing a Ceramic Pam 1441. It is on its stock leather strap. This is the same as the TUTTONERO model with ceramic bracelet. It is a GMT but oddly enough this particular Pam has a WR of only 100m instead of 300m? I came across that when I was looking to purchase my latest Pam 661 Carbotexh purchase that has 300M WR. I have no idea why a ceramic models don’t have a 300M WR like most all 44mm Luminor models. The only Ceramic model that has a 300m WR is the SUBMERSIBLE.

Carbotech is also only used and patented by Panerai so it makes it a lot more exotic/exclusive than ceramic which is used throughout the watch industry. I posted this last summer but while diving by a bridge pier with my Pam 661 Carbotech on, I hit the watch hard on the lower support stones about 15’ under water. I hit the watch so hard that had it been one of my Rolex models, I would have surfaced to assess the damage. When I did surface to check the Carbotech out, it had no marks on the case or crystal. I was shocked because the stones were even jagged and surely would’ve left a deep gouge or dent on a metal watch. My Pam 661 still looks absolutely pristine like it just came out of the box. It’s the toughest premium watch material I know of. This is what made me a believer even over my ceramic watches. We are all watch enthusiast here and having a automatic watch that looks this good, top tier movement, and made out of a exotic material that is a step above but also tougher is very appealing on many levels to the WIS. I think the price point is easily justified. I said this about the overall ownership experience of the Panerai Carbotech models.... “It’s like wearing a flat black LaFerrari on the wrist.” Like a snowflake, no two Carbotech models are the same by the way they are constructed and manufactured.
