Nautilus Availability Rankings by model

I remember a year or two ago starting a thread on this topic. The models have since changed somewhat (there is now a 5726 blue and the 5740 and the 5711 white is out) so new list should look like this?

1. 5740 white gold blue
2. 5726 steel blue
3. 5711 steel blue
4. 5712 steel blue
5. 5990 steel grey
6. 5711 rose gold
7. 5712 rose gold strap
8. 5980 rose gold bracelet
9. 5980 rose gold strap
10. 5726 grey strap
11. 5712 white gold strap
12. 5980 two tone

What is the order of the list? Hardest to get to easiest (I'm guessing this)? Or most available to least?

Maybe switch the 5711/1R and the 5990, then followed by the 5980/1R.

5980 Two-toned should probably be higher

5711/a still has the longest wait list

I have doubts 12 should be below anything on a strap.

For me:
1.5740.... best and most beautiful (dial and bracelet...)Nautilus
2. 5711... iconic classic typical Nautilus

The list will be drastically different depending on the customer.

If one was an established customer with a long history of prior purchases of non-flipable and expensive models (non-flipable for a profit anyway) then I suspect a 5740 would be relatively easy to get whilst a 5726 blue still might be quite difficult (interested as to whether you agree with that Russel). Whereas to a total newcomer I think they are all difficult and in that order.

The OP's question was about availability and not what you like...

My guess is the 5711 blue remains hardest to get overall. A good starting point for a generic ranking is obviously (market price / MSRP).

In reality the list will differ from region to region and AD to AD (and depend on a customer's status w the AD). Interestingly, my AD said the 5712 is harder to get than the 5740 as so much more people are willing to spend EUR 37k compared to 111k on one watch.

That is an interesting proposition ts3....RRP vs market price. As a percentage mark up the 5711 would win however a slightly different take on that would be market price minus RRP where all of a sudden the 5980 would shoot up to 1st/2nd place (alongside the 5740).

The 4 SS watches listed at 2-5 are about the same actually. They could be like 2a 2b 2c 2d...

If there were a 5740 steel, it would be no.1 without question. But I doubt patek would use steel for a grand complication watch.

My take would be that to the right buyer the piece delivered in the largest numbers is by far the easiest to obtain, this of course ignores demand since queues are jumped.

Am new to this forum and I do not have a PP but looking to someday get one? I like the annual calendar SS nautilus models. Is there a waiting list even for #10 and if so, how readily can you get on the waiting list with no purchase history? Thanks.
