My entrance into the Swiss Holy Trinity....

Rolex inability to deliver watches to their dealers forced me to look into other brands, I'm happy to say I may never look back. Vacheron Constantin owns my wrist now.

That’s a nice watch, congratulations.

I’m curious as to how far the VC may have been off your radar when Rolex was the target. Or was it always there but just in passing.

When I couldn't walk into my Rolex AD and buy a watch and the only way to get one was to pay over retail with a gray seller I realized that Rolex had no loyalty towards me, so I began to explore other brands, walking into stores and trying on comparable watches. Rolex has lost me as a customer. Thankfully Blancpain, Vacheron, and Omega (in particular) have shown they value my business.

Same story here. I stopped by my AD to send a watch for service and in the chat she mentioned rolex. I told her that I was no longer interested in Rolex watches and showed her the VC. She was so surprised, the look on her face was almost one of shock. 20200312_124108.jpg

Great choice!!! You won’t regret it. The 4500V is such an understated watch that oozes quality. I wear mine quite often.
