Patek 5740 and Rolex 326934 from Razny

After 18 months of waiting, I got my Patek 5740 from Razny in Chicago. They had been my favorite AD because they never let me down. I also got the Rolex Skydweller from Razny back to July 2017.
I want to say Thank you to the Razny family for my collection. IMG_3668.jpg

It's a beautiful watch. I love the electric blue and how dynamic it makes the dial look... More dimensional than the typical blue Nautilus. Huge congrats.

I regret not going to Ranzy. I had my Explorer II serviced at Torneau Rolex on Michigan Ave like a year ago and tried building a relationship but our relationship has just been built around me reaching out to stay in touch and them telling me how they don’t have anything to sell. At this point I don’t even want to buy anything I am just curious if they will ever even offer to sell me anything.

Thanks. I put these 2 next to my AP Royal Oak Perpetual calendar and it became my 3 watches collection.

Actually, I went to that Rolex Boutique after I left the Razny Chicago store. They have a white gold 36mm Daydate with the a decent meteorite dial with the old brown tag. I was looking for a lady 31mm Datejust for my wife. The Boutique was willing to offer me a decent discount on daydate and a Pepsi on the spot if I buy both DD and DJ.

Razny in Chicago has a beautiful Datejust pink mother of pearl dial. I ended up getting the pink mop DJ and yellow gold DD from Razny.

Yes you are absolutely right. It is the perfection! You dial is a lot more dynamic that the AP RO perpetual calendar. The only edge that AP RO has over the 5740 is that it has the 52 week display. I still prefer the 24 hr display on the 5740 over the 52 week display.
