Why no white-face GMT, Sub? Rolex, please make one for me

Am I the only one (yes Paul, you are the only one... nobody else) that likes a white dial and wishes Rolex would offer it on their iconic models? I know the story about the Pan-Am GMTs, I don’t know if there will ever be proof one way or the other, but I chose my Ex II 42, and my DJ41, specifically because of the white dial; I just prefer a white-faced watch. I would love to see a white face GMT offered, maybe a sub too.

Is it possible? Will it ever be? Or am I alone in my quest?

OP39 was pretty amazing. Honestly I’d buy a ceramic bezel 40mm ExpII yesterday but I know that’s never happening haha

Never say never.

The longer I own and wear my Exp II, The more I realize what a unique and versatile offering it is

I’m a sucker for white dials as well. When Rolex came out with the meteorite GMT it instantly became my grail watch. A Polar Explorer II would likely be my next pick up unless they come out with an appealing white dial alternative.

Sure! White dials would be a welcome change. However I think it would also need to depend on which reference.

just look at the new Omega smpc. That watch looks stunning with a white dial.

A Rolex E2 3186 polar dial is on my shopping list.

If Rolex made a GMT master 2 or sub with a white dial, good lord, that'll have an insane waiting list.

I do like a white dial, I only have one with the TOG, but I am always looking for another white face to complete my small collection, however, I need to keep money in the bank now I'm not earning any, but, looking on the bright side, this time of year is always pretty slow, and I'm hopeful this will all be over and back to normal when my work picks up to frantic towards the end of the summer.

I bought a fluted DJ2 as my white dial piece in the collection, however, I think the white dial on the current OP39 trumps it.
Yes, Rolex should offer some more variety in their dial line ups, offering white for instance as opposed to black, but I can’t ever see it happening other than on the Explorer references.
The meteorite dial GMT is as close as your ever going to get I suspect.

Polar on green seatbelt nylon 2 piece strap, super soft comfortable and secure with lug holes of older models.

That does not look nice. Bezel.needs to be white too then. It clashes with the red and blue.

Agree. Reverse the colors on the bezel, and instant classic.
