Incoming!!! Dssd 116660 mk1
Hi watch friend!
For years I have a strong desire for this BEAUTY! I Wanted a MK1, 2008, the DSSD as Rolex first conceived it. My wrist is 6.7 (small) but I find it light, comfortable, perfect! I do not understand those who say otherwise I have been surprised how comfortable it is. I am HAPPY to be a part of the Rolex King Diver Club!!! The bracelet tampers very nice. The crystal is a must see....the ring lock is a BEAUTY (I'm crazy?), the DS Glidelock Clasp is unique, the Big Crown is badass, the tinanium back is BADASS!!! LOVE IT! I know is a watch made only for Rolex divers fans (like is my SD43). PICTURES: Enviado desde mi SM-G975F mediante Tapatalk |

Congrats To,you! I just received mine this past Tuesday.
They are beastly and worth every penny. I was wearing the 16600 a lot before and in 6 months had 2 people notice by saying "Nice Watch". Now it is once a day! This watch demands a presence when worn. The technology behind this particular Rolex leaves all others in the dust. I could not be happier! You did well. The envy of most! |

Thanks to all of you!! Love this forum. I'm amazed at how beautiful the DSSD is, and even more than how comfortable I feel on my wrist, its curved sapphire is hypnotic.
I had no doubt that I wanted an MK1 to start the journey to the Deep Sea! Enviado desde mi SM-G975F mediante Tapatalk |

I have a JC 126660 but I have to say that your watch, with the black face, is the most hardcore reference, in my opinion. Hope you enjoy it.

I have a SubC and sometimes want to trade it in for the DSSD. I think it might fit me better because of the flat case back. How do you feel about the comfort of the SubC compared to the DSSD?
Congrats on the new badass watch! I would go for the black dial too. |

I'm so happy of read each one of you, thanks!!! I trade my SubC (nothing wrong with the venerable submariner, is perfect, but I wanted so much the DSSD that have to let the 116610 go). I do not have a big wrist but have a Big passion for Rolex divers, and a fanboy needs the DSSD on his wrist! Yesterday night was looking the Ring Lock System and read on the net: "...which uses a super hard, nitrogen-alloyed steel central ring to internally support both the extra-thick sapphire crystal and the Grade 5 titanium caseback" and was like a child!
I am of the generation that was still surprised by everything, by a special effect in a movie, or by a beautiful person, or by a mechanical watch that can stand 3,900 meters with only 44mm large. I do not want to stop being surprised and this DSSD has been a pleasant surprise and a new companion badass for my grail: The SD43, look at them together: Enviado desde mi SM-G975F mediante Tapatalk |
