I was roaming around and was trying to compliment a seller and was not allowed to post. Is there is time period until I am allowed to post ?
I don’t have any intention to sell anything right now but looking, commenting, and possibly buying , yes. I wonder how long, or what I need to do, before I am allowed to respond to classifieds.

It also seems to take an awful long time for a reply post to show up. Is that normal ? I am typing this at 5:32 pm pacific time. Let’s see

I am pretty sure the procedures for new members are for everyone’s protection. I, for one, appreciate this careful approach.
I need to read up on the rules.

I don’t have anything for sale for the moment so I am in no rush. But it’s hard to see interesting posts and being able to respond.

All good things come to those who wait.

Welcome to the forums! Glad to have you.

For responding to a classified ad, look through the rules before responding, as only the seller can respond to their own ads and no member can comment on them.

Thanks a lot for that information. I did not expect that. I had incorrectly assumed that prospective buyers and admirers could comment and ask questions of the seller. I guess that has to be done through PMs?

Correct, you are free to PM any seller to discuss details or a possible sale,
