Do you have adapters for the OQ bracelets now, or do you have a machinist who could make them for you?

Wow, glad I ran into this thread. I have 3 vintage bracelets that need some love. Nice to see some quality work here in the USA. Have used MY before but prefer to keep it in country if possible.

Mike, you will be hearing from me soon.

Question from member: what is the best time to get them repaired. In other words is it easier to repair before it reaches a point of no return

Timing does make a difference. It comes down to degradation of fasteners that hold links together. Mostly, stretch occurs when pins are grinded down from friction. If they are worn too thin they break during removal. Once broken there isn't enough material to grab onto for removal. We are forced to grind the pin smooth then drill them out. This is tedious and laborious work. With 40+ pins on the avg band Jubilee it becomes impractical if more than 3-4 pins need drilling.

For now we don't charge more for additional labor but it can inevitably effect pricing in the future.

We had fun with this B&A pic. We repaired one side and clasp of this 1988 steel jubilee. See the difference firsthand. From sloppy to happy!

Customer requested we overhaul the clasp to near new condition. We added 316L fill metal to resolve the pitting from corrosion. New life for this 39 year fold clasp (M5)

Outstanding idea/smart. You will be filling a niche that Rolex left wide open.

Are the bracelet pins you are using stainless? 316?

Love the fact your here in the US. Love the initiative.

On a real side note...and although it would involve different processes/equipment, you should think about producing high quality replacement spring bars as well. Rolex seems to limit/restrict sales of their springbars and it’s hard to find top quality versions on the open market.

Two other items that would sell like hotcakes and relatively easy to produce in quantity would be a 1.7mm hollow-ground tip screwdriver for adjusting bracelets. The other would be a springbar pliers similar to the bergeon 7825 (and sell the replacement tips!).

More Before/After photos

Arrived Weds, will be ready to return shipping the following Mon!

The loops and links were in good overall condition, just a bit tired. We did our magic and even with a quick turnaround we took it from 77% back to 95%!

Refurbish Oyster Bracelet?

I'm interested in getting my Oyster bracelet from a Sub 16610 with the 93150 / 501B refurbished. It has moderate stretch but the small link from clasp to bracelet on the fliplock side has some concerning play

Do you service Oyster bracelets?

There are multiple shops in the US that sell high quality spring bars.

argh. reorganized the photobucket and didn't consider what it would do the thread. I may need to start a new thread.

toxicavenger- Yes we work on 93150 Oyster. I don't we have any photos of the SS models we have done in the past but we did just finish a much more difficult 93153 with fantastic results. It was an older model for 16803 that was pretty left dead until we revived it.

I just received a Jubilee bracelet back that was sent to Rolliworks for some stretch repair and I would like to say that I was very happy with the results. Thanks Rolliworks (Mike).
