I based my comment not on someone's asking price, but on:

1. Blue sold out in 7 hours
2. Green sold out in 2 hours
3. Thousands on wait list for next colour [there were 2,000 on the list after blue]
4. The watch look HH, has good finishing, and is a sonnerie at £3k RRP. Great value.

All of these indicate that this CW will sell over RRP.

Interesting how do you know about the waitlist length?

I don’t mean to be rude. I’ve seen many watches sell out in minutes and you can’t sell them for over msrp. Many hodinkee launches, grand seiko LE etc.

People list them for sale sure but good luck finding a buyer.

You absolutely may be right. Just calling it how I see it. And again I may be wrong and there’s an undercurrent of CW collectors who pay over msrp. It’s not a world I dabble in.

No, just a loaner for review purposes.
The finishing is quite good, but not perfect and the chime is pretty quiet, you don't notice it when wearing it, unless you are in a quiet room, BUT it does loom gorgeous and MUCH more expensive than it is.

I just put together a short video 'walk-through' of my Bel Canto. I tried my best to capture the entire watch, and included lots of macros and some footage of the chime in action! Let me know what you guys think.

Well, I first saw this video on the other thread and thought it is the official commercial. Congratulations on the video and the watch!

Great video, and thanks for including the sound a few times.

Haha, I'm flattered! Maybe one day I can shoot a watch commercial

Thanks for watching! And of course, it would be a crime not to include the sound in a chime watch video..

Did anyone else get an email from CW asking if they would be interested in a Bel Canto? The email said they would contact me later if interested to discuss configuration.

Based on the number of times I've seen Purple being mentioned on their IG page and the Christopher Ward Enthusiasts page on FB, I think that could become a reality!

Here's my review of the piece with macro shots.
The finish is pretty good, and supposedly done by hand.

As I don't like MB & F and this being some kind of homage to them it naturally has zero appeal
Fair play to them for bringing it home and creating a buzz but it's a hard no from me

Email went out to place a deposit on more Bel Canto's. You needed to have signed up for their email list to potentially reserve one. I put a deposit down on the light blue.

Huge thanks for the heads up. Was away from email and... ordered the purple with bracelet, and will add their purple strap option during the final payment :)

Congratulations!
By placing a deposit you have successfully secured your Bel Canto.

We will be scheduling the build of your watch in the next few weeks and
will be in touch towards the end of January with the estimated delivery date.

THANKS Albert F and of course to Christopher Ward

Just placed an order for the Cielo on the strap. I probably add the bracelet. Love the color options this round.
