Love it, congrats. Just got my first Omega with the AT38 blue. Quality is off the charts. Tried one of these on at the AD also and loved how it wore even on my smaller 6.5 wrist. Will be getting one eventually. Like how Omega has all of the alternate OEM strap options, got the strap, bracelet, and NATO on my AT which makes it so versatile and they are all high quality. Enjoy this one bud!

Can you tell me how the strap at 12 o’clock is attached to the deployant please? Is it just a hidden spring bar which is used?

Thanks
Yep, just a little spring bar.

I really like it on the strap. What about this added up to being so much of a better watch than the previous gen of Speedmaster? I'm still torn between the hesalite and sapphire.

Congratulations on your new watch! The sapphire sandwich looks beautiful inside and out!

I picked up the hesalite version a couple of weeks ago and its been on my wrist almost everyday since then.

How much is that strap going for? Couldn’t find it on the omega website.

Sapphire sammich. Also bought the fabric strap and deployant clasp, which are sooooo much better than the stiff leather from the prior generation.

Fantastic! Welcome to the speedy club.

Looks awesome. Is that deployant 16 or 18mm?

Very nice! I love that fabric strap. Might have to pick one up.
