What Rolex works best with a tracksuit?

Ok, so most of you probably won’t give a toss, but for those who do...

I have a large selection of watches because I like to dress my watch accordingly to my outfit. I am either in a suit 100 per cent formal, or the complete opposite and in a Nike tracksuit/gym clothes as when I’m not making money I spend my time bodybuilding.

What Rolex do you think dresses the best with a tracksuit? Always feel the submariner works well interested to hear what you think.

I like to go the other way. I tend to wear my best watches (Patek Nautilus, Gold Daytona, Royal Oak etc.) with my dress-down attire, and my more casual watches (Dweller, Pepsi, Speedy etc.) with my dress-up attire.

There are exceptions, the Offshores don’t work with a suit for instance.

I like the oxymoronic approach. In the same way that I like a rubber bracelet in a gold watch.

Not very British, but it’s good to be different.

I get the yellow gold day date thing, I do actually own a YG SkgD too. Opposite of what I would wear with a tracksuit though.

116500 is a great shout. Do not own one though and will not be buying one at those prices!

Definitely is good to be different I love it when people question what I wear because it’s different! Month later they’re all copying anyway!

Came in to post "the post gawdy, blingy, YG anything you can think of if a track suit is involved."

Also, a solid amount of chest hair, male pattern baldness, and a gold chain necklace.

I think anything is fine.

Isn’t a track suit, like the fancy outfit for working out?

I say any Rolex as long as you’re comfortable in it. A DeepSea or Yachtmaster 2 might be a bit big for running on the threadmill, but idk

Even a 5711 would be cool

For a suggestion, i'll say a black Daytona. For my personal use, call me weird but i'll be picking a Hulk.

Does it matter? I mean your wrist is going to be covered anyway, and you’re not wearing it while lifting, so I’m struggling to see what the dilemma is. A g-shock or Apple Watch would be the right choice for this. Tool watches became popular because they aided people in their physical pursuits. Choose something that does that for you.

You guys beat me to the Soprano’s references...

Depends a bit on the tracksuit but I’d say most rolexes would work except perhaps for the Cellini so bottom line I’d say pretty much anything not too dressy. I’d go with something on a bracelet or rubber strap. Perhaps I’d rock a yacht master or a Daytona if it was me, i usually don’t wear a watch when I’m in a track suit though to be honest :)

Is it formal wear track suit or casual? If the tracksuit is for formal wear say dining at KFC or McDonalds I would suggest a gold Day-Date preferably encrusted with diamonds. If it is for casual dining say at the Cafe de Paris, Place du Casino Monaco I would go with a Sub.
