Dial swap option for 128238
Hi all my AD has a 128238 yellow gold white dial 36mm daydate and as nice as it is I ve always liked the green dial from the 118238 daydate does anyone know if Rolex will put that dial in the current 36mm daydate?

Rolex AD may order and charge you for the new dial and take away your old dial. Rolex no longer allows genuine dials to leak out to the after market scene to prevent counterfeiting fake watch cases with genuine dials in certain markets

Hi thanks the reply’s. I understand the dial with be on exchange basis. My question is more will they supply and fit a dial from the previous range of daydates into a current daydate.

Not all dials are interchangeable, and even if they were your options are limited to what was available for your specific configuration. But to address your specific situation, dials for 118238 are completely incompatible with 128238. |

You can exchange the dial and keep your old one for an additional charge, I don’t think however that dial is an available option for your model. You may need the newer green ombre with diamonds

AD’s are unnecc. middleman. Call your nearest RSC directly and ask. If you want to move forward they will send you instructions to send your watch in for service/dial-swap.

Call Rolex Service Center and ask them if they can swap out for the 36mm Green Ombre Diamond Dial.
This is the one I think you are considering?
