My 1st ss GMT has arrived! Suggestions for 3rd piece?

Finally had a really great AD experience. Got my first watch from them! I will definitely always be loyal to this AD moving forward. I told them my story about how my previous AD wouldn't put me on any waitlists after buying my DJ from them. After that we built a relationship, I continued visiting them and talk about interests out of watches and this happened! I'm super grateful. Don't lose hope!

I choose the batman oyster since I alrdy have a jubilee Dj. It's a really nice change to cover my basis.

I now have a SS oyster band covered in my collection and a datejust jubilee for more flashy. What should my 3rd piece be? (I'll likely trade in the DJ for a Daydate later in life, so I'll have room for 1 more watch)20220625_162618.jpg20220610_163108 (2).jpg

That's the perfect pair! Don't need a 3rd to be honest.

Outstanding, congrats! For number three, either a Daytona or Milgauss.

Congrats!

If you really “need” a third, then a Submariner or Sea-Dweller would be a good option, IMO.

For now, just enjoy those beauties. :-)

It's kind of encountering a half-hour beer line at a concert. Might as well get back in line if you want another one.

Some kind of LE speedmaster or other chrono with a light color dial? (Not a popular opinion but I think Daytonas are unattractive.)

I would be content with that pair but if you must add a third piece, it has to be a Sub. Either 124060 or 126610

Two beautiful pieces. Enjoy it for time being and don't start chasing a third.

A diver might be a good for a third.

Agree. You'll never be happier than having a couple nice watches you actually enjoy wearing. Maybe in a year or two when you get tired of one you get another. Go slow, OP!

Congrats on the BLNR!

LMAO this is the exact analogy I used on my wife when I got back “in line” for a BLNR days after picking up my James Cameron

Congrats OP on the BLNR!! It’s a wonderful pick up! I would add a Daytona if you like those, or if you’re not as a big of a fan then maybe a sub LV to give you a different color scheme and some variety. Unless you’re strictly sticking to Rolex a sapphire sandwich Speedmaster could make a great choice as well!

100% I agree with everyone of you! It's more so I know if I put my name on the list now it'll be probably 1-2 years before it comes around haha. I alrdy told my AD I won't be purchasing my next one for atleast 1 year out :)! I'm definitely going to take my time to enjoy the BLNR.

Congrats and enjoy the new watch! It’s fun to have a collection and if you really want to add something, a Daytona would be iconic. More readily available at a discount would be a speedmaster, also iconic. Cheers!

I agree with several others; enjoy the GMT and the DJ for a while without worrying about getting a third. My two Rolexes are a GMT II and a DJ, and I just don't have any interest in getting another.

For most people your suggested cooling off period will be determined by the AD. I'd immediately join the next wait list. (Already waited 5 years to be offered any SS pieces at the AD, still nothing.)

Both OP’s watches are of black dial. I would suggest a white dial as the 3rd piece.

I was looking for a 2nd piece to compliment my Submariner and logical choice IMO is one with white dial. I certainly would like a white panda but it is impossible to get. Here in Toronto, it is close to impossible to get a Rolex, any Rolex. So, I plan to get a white dial Santos.
