Ceramic Omega Help

Hey everyone,

I am looking to purchase a Ceramic Planet Ocean from Omega. Would love to know know your thoughts and opinions between the following models:

Planet Ocean 39.5mm diver in ceramic
Planet Ocean Deep Black Ceramic 46mm

6.75 inch wrists. 6 foot 3.

For reference, here is the Deep Black. Thanks!

For owners of either, how do you like them?!

Looks pretty big IMO, I owned the 39 PO but ended up selling it, I didn’t like the proportions, great watch though.

it looks good and I am a total sucker for a GMT watch but I find all planet oceans too deep (pardon the pun) to wear comfortably for me

I really wanted the new PO GMT with the black/white ceramic bezel - beautiful watch but it is a brick on the wrist so no go

just filled my omega shaped hole in the collection with the new seamaster diver 300m - worth a look?

I think it looks good. I wouldn’t purchase from a boutique though unless getting a good percentage off. I’d go gray market

I own the Deep Black Sedna and absolutely love it. Incredibly comfortable on the wrist for extended wear. Movement and case craftsmanship is top notch.

However, you had posted in the Panerai sub forum that you love slim watches. The Deep Black is not slim and so you may not wish to go this route if case thickness is a high priority.

I have the Big Blue.. I know, it's not for everyone. But honestly I think it wears a bit small. Not that it is small at all, but the way the strap is, it looks smaller than what the dimensions of the watch are. The straps go down instead of out from the case.

Regardless, get what looks good to YOU. It's YOUR watch.

I love that watch. I initially thought it was too big, until I went to a boutique and tried one on. It fits great! Does not feel as big as it is and it is light.

I'm a much smaller guy than you, but I think it looks fine on me. However, I like my watches to be pretty snug so even on the smallest loop it was a hair too big. So they ordered me the smaller sized straps and I'm going to get it changed out today. Once I do I'll take photos once I get it swapped and let you know how the smaller straps feel.
But like the previous poster said, it doesn't wear as big as you might think it will. The ceramic is so light, and it's a really attractive piece.
