I rotate between the ceramic BLRO and JC as my daily. The others come out depending on the mood

I personally don't own a beater. If I'm doing something that I feel would cause damage to a watch, I don't wear one.

The term “ beater” is as bad as calling a Rolex a “Rollie!”

What do you guys have as your beaters?

G-Shock for anything that has me banging around - yard work, car work, etc. For adventurous activities like hiking/camping/swimming I go with my BLRO.

No beater watch here. If I'm doing any "heavy" work I simply won't wear a watch.

Wear your Rolex. The term “beater” is odd to me. Aside from a dress watch, you can wear these watches in most situations. I wear Rolex, Tudor, Heuer at the beach, camping, etc...they are made to be robust.

G-Shock DW5600 for the gym, or Seiko SKX007 for the lake.

i wouldn't use the term "beater" unless its a gym watch which is a G-Shock.
However, I wear my whole collection in rotation, depending on clothing and occasion

Don’t get an Invicta. If you want a beater watch, get a Hamilton Khaki field watch.

Explorer 2 and occasionally my seamaster.

The explorer 2 is the most versatile under the radar watch ever.

I would only consider having a beater watch If I was engaged in an activity on a regular basis which would be harzadous to a watch. For my I wear my Explorer II everywhere, I would not want to own another that I didn't love just to save it from scratches. If I am doing yard work or working with power tools I typically do not were a watch at all.

That bracelet!!!!!!!!

I just wear what I am wearing and if I have to fix a watch, so be it. If I know I am going to do something rough I usually go G shock or no watch.

Beater=Daily, I get it. I used to go between my Air King and Ranger but now I try to rotate more, lately it's been my Blnr and DJ41

I think the issue is that people have different definitions of what a beater watch is.

For me, a daily watch isn't a beater. My SubC is my daily watch.

A beater watch to me is something I would wear in high crime areas. (i.e., high crime areas of big European or US cities.).

I live in an affluent suburban area, so it's actually a very rare occurrence for me, but sometimes you go to places where you don't want to wear a Rolex, and it's a good idea to dress down.
