I really hope I can say the same soon.

I picked up my watch today!
First observation: the Renault crown is centered correctly! It was off when I sent it in and it bothered me a slight bit. This is how I sent it off: What’s the big deal, you say? Well... nothing... other than it shows me that the watch was assembled a little less precisely than it could have been. This is how it came back: I had mentioned nothing about it. They corrected it when reassembling the watch. Makes me believe it was assembled a little more carefully and more precisely than before I sent it off. The crown works as it’s supposed to as well. Now I’ll wear it few days and see how it’s regulated and see when it flips the date.

Worry less as RSC should take care of it too bad it had to happen to you.

Great watch - mine running perfectly and no issues with crown setting time. Glad they sorted yours. Hope your regulation matches their other fixes.

Wow oh wow.
Been wearing it for almost 4 days. Has gained 0.2 seconds in 3 days!!!! This is big time quartz territory. I need to investigate if they’re hiding a little battery somewhere in there.

The rehaut crown would be a non-issue to me on a hand set portion. You'd see similar in all high end watches if they dared to insert a rehaut where you would notice as Rolex does. Glad you're happy with it now and it's keeping accurate time like it should |

Anything weird going on with the bottom tip of the triangle at 12 o’clock?

Hm, my SD43 was killing it wrt accuracy, but the 14060 is behaving strangely, as of late. It doesn’t hack the seconds hand, when I pull the crown out. Not that I care, though, it’s my watch and flaws make it more unique.

I've had mine for 18 months and it's kept perfect time from day one. Sorry to hear about your experience. As far as things lining up correctly, I totally agree. My AD had an SD4K right before the SD43 came out. But the bezel didn't line up correctly, it was off on the hour markets. That's what kept me from purchasing it. It was maddening looking at it.

It is just the lighting. On my phone it looked like a dent on the right side of the tip of the triangle at twelve. I see how the light was playing a trick. Light is reflecting on the sane edge of all the rhodium in this picture.
I am glad you got the movement sorted quickly. Cheers |

We've got some people here who need to put down their loops and enjoy their watches. This talk of "precision" and things not being "quite right" is boarder line obsessive. NONE of these close up photos illustrate anything that needed to be addressed IMHO.
To the OP, I may have waited a bit longer but you made the call already so hoping for the best. My SD43 has been the single most accurate piece I've ever owned. Hope yours gets straightened out.

1. the crown was stuck in the "date" position and I couldn't adjust time... there was no choice but to send it in. 2. it DID get straightened out when I got it back from RSC. Thanks.

No I didn't miss anything, one man's "stuck" is another mans temporary glitch. my issue was with the pictures and egregious nit-picking.
